Southaven hiring for growing department

Southaven is recruiting new employees for a growing professional department, the city said in a Facebook post Monday, calling the openings “an excellent opportunity” with competitive pay. The post said the department is “committed to serving our community with integrity to keep Southaven a safe place to live, work and visit.”

The notice directs interested applicants to the city’s online jobs page and urges candidates to “Make a difference. APPLY TODAY!” The job listing and application portal are available at https://southaven.org/jobs.aspx.

Southaven is a city in northern Mississippi. Local government departments play key roles in public safety, infrastructure and community services, and staff recruitment can affect service delivery and response times.

Officials did not provide additional details about specific openings, qualifications or deadlines in the post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
