Southaven major attends Secret Service command staff seminar in Washington
Major Ainsworth of the Southaven Police Department attended the Command Staff Seminar Session 202-26 in Washington, D.C., this week, the department said in a Facebook post.
The department said attendees came from across the country and expressed appreciation for its partnership with the Memphis Secret Service Field Office for selecting a participant from the agency to attend the seminar.
The post also thanked the U.S. Secret Service Office of Field Operations in Washington for the information presented during sessions and discussions. The Office of Field Operations coordinates the Secret Service’s field activities, including investigative and protective operations across regional offices.
Southaven Police Department serves Southaven, Mississippi, a city near Memphis, and participation in national command-level seminars can help local leaders build interagency relationships and stay current on investigative and protective practices.
