Sheriff’s office praises community garden, urges volunteers
The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that it is proud to be part of a local community garden and grateful for the opportunity to support the project.
The post described the garden as more than a place to grow fresh produce, calling it a spot where neighbors connect, friendships are built and the community grows stronger together.
Community gardens often provide residents with access to fresh fruits and vegetables, green space for recreation and opportunities for volunteerism. They can also foster neighborhood ties and support local efforts to improve food access and public health.
The sheriff’s office said it is honored to support the effort and encouraged residents to consider volunteering, whether they have gardening experience or are simply looking for a way to help. The post added that every helping hand makes a difference.
We will provide more information as it becomes available.
