Police investigate shooting outside Good Vibez in Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, Mississippi — The Vicksburg Police Department is investigating an early-morning report of shots fired outside Good Vibez at 2001 Washington Street around 2 a.m. on May 31, 2026, the department said in a post on its Facebook page.

Preliminary information indicates one individual sustained a non-life-threatening injury to the foot, and the victim was transported by a personal vehicle to a local hospital for treatment, the department said.

The incident remains an active investigation and no further details are available at this time, the department said.
