Oxford Police Department hosts FBI-LEEDA training for regional officers
OXFORD, Mississippi — The Oxford Police Department said in a Facebook post that it will soon host FBI-LEEDA training courses in Oxford open to law enforcement professionals across the region.
The department described FBI-LEEDA as one of the countrys respected law enforcement leadership development organizations and said the classes offer opportunities for officers to sharpen skills and advance their careers.
Officials said agencies and individual officers interested in attending should contact Training Officer Roman Sones using the contact information listed on each class flyer. The post did not specify exact dates or registration deadlines.
Oxford Police added that investing in better-trained officers contributes to community safety. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
