Oxford police attend Code4Couples conference to strengthen relationships

This past weekend, members of the Oxford Police Department (OPD) and their significant others attended the Code4Couples Conference with Cyndi Doyle, the department said in a Facebook post.

The department said Doyle shared tools and strategies intended to strengthen relationships and build resilience among staff and their families. The post thanked Doyle for “pouring into” officers and family members, according to the department.

OPD said it recognizes that law enforcement is a demanding profession and that strong support systems at home and at work are vital. The department said it is committed to investing in employees not only as officers but also as spouses, parents and family members.

OPD added that when personnel are healthy and supported at home, they are better equipped to serve the community. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details become available.
