Mississippi Highway Patrol enlists Miss Mississippi volunteers for D.R.I.V.E. campaign

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said in a Facebook post that Miss Mississippi Volunteer and Miss Mississippi Teen Volunteer met with the Mississippi Highway Patrol to support the agency’s D.R.I.V.E. campaign.

The post thanked the volunteers for their commitment to helping spread the campaign’s message about safe, responsible driving and making Mississippi’s roadways safer for everyone, and included the hashtags #DRIVE, #MississippiHighwayPatrol, #MDPS and #SafeDriving, the department said.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety oversees the Mississippi Highway Patrol, which enforces traffic laws and conducts public outreach across the state. Partnerships with community figures and volunteers are a common strategy for law enforcement agencies to amplify safety messages and reach broader audiences, particularly young drivers and families.
