Lowndes County seeks Marshall McDaniel on drug, weapons charges

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating 44-year-old Marshall Ladale McDaniel, who is wanted on multiple drug and weapons charges, the agency said in a Facebook post headlined “Warrant Wednesday.”

McDaniel is wanted on charges that include sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. The sheriff’s office also listed habitual offender, second subsequent offense, among the charges, the post said.

Anyone with information about McDaniel’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office at (662) 328-6788 or Golden Triangle Crimestoppers at 1-800-530-7151. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the T3Tips app, the post said.

Golden Triangle Crimestoppers guarantees anonymity for tipsters and said people may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest. The sheriff’s office thanked the community for its assistance and noted that all subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
