Jackson police seek help finding missing woman

JACKSON, Mississippi — The Jackson Police Department is asking the public for help locating Michelle Parker, 55, who was reported missing May 24, police said in a public notification dated May 26.

Police said Parker was last seen Friday, May 22, after dropping her daughter at work and her granddaughter at school. She was scheduled to attend a coordinated placement appointment with Mississippi Sports Medicine at 1325 E. Fortification St., but the reporting party told police they were unsure whether Parker made it to the appointment or to work.

Parker was driving a white Chevrolet Malibu with no tag when she was last seen, police said. She is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a pixie haircut. Police said she was last seen wearing a blue apron, blue jeans, a T-shirt and tennis shoes.

The Jackson Police Department has entered Parker into the National Crime Information Center, a national database used by law enforcement.
