Leake County seeks help finding missing 19-year-old Khinyin Glenn

The Leake County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help locating Khinyin “Chavez” Maurice Glenn, who has been missing since April 2021, the office said.

Glenn’s mother, Arletha Williams, reported him missing on April 25, 2021, the sheriff’s office said. Williams told investigators she dropped her son at a relative’s residence on Smith Road in Leake County on Friday, April 23, 2021, and that was the last time she personally saw or spoke with him.

Williams said her daughter later told her Glenn returned home that same night but left again at about 10 p.m., saying he was going for a walk. He has not been seen or heard from since, and Williams said she contacted numerous friends, relatives and community members with no success.

Williams told investigators Glenn, then 19, takes medication for a medical condition that causes him to pace, and his leaving without contacting family was highly unusual, the sheriff’s office said. He is described as a Black male, about 5-foot-6 and 165 pounds, with a chocolate complexion. Distinguishing features include a Heaven’s Gate and doves tattoo on his left arm, and family members said he often wore honey-brown contact lenses.
