Pike County seeks help finding missing McComb man

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help locate Mecheal Ramsey, 47, who was last seen on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the area of Larry Road in McComb, Mississippi, the office said.

Ramsey is described as 6-foot tall and weighing 250 pounds, with black, balding hair and brown eyes. At the time he was last seen he was wearing a white shirt with khaki or blue jeans, officials said.

Family members report that Ramsey has a medical condition that may impair his judgment, increasing concern for his safety, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Department said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pike County Central Dispatch at (601) 783-2323.

Missing-person alerts are issued to enlist public assistance and speed searches when someone’s whereabouts are unknown. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
