The Jackson Police Department said it is attempting to locate 55-year-old Sikyra Jackson-Harness, who has not been in contact with her family since last year, according to a department Facebook post.
The department’s post included a flyer with a description and additional details and asked anyone with information about Harness’ whereabouts to call the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1800 or 769-275-1253.
Local police departments routinely investigate reports of missing adults and often ask for public help when family members lose contact and routine checks do not yield answers. The department’s outreach is intended to generate leads and ensure the safety of the person involved.
Officials did not provide further details in the post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
