Jackson police seek missing 16-year-old Erica Jackson

The Jackson Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating Erica Jackson, 16, who was last seen Thursday, May 28, 2026, walking away from the 4500 block of Belmede Place in Jackson with her 19-year-old brother, Isaiah Jackson, the department said. Isaiah has also been reported missing.

Erica is described as 5’5″, 120 lbs., with braided hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan hoodie, blue jeans and black Crocs, Jackson police said. The agency identified the case as No. 26-05-08327.

Anyone with information is asked to contact JPD Dispatch at (601) 960-1800 or to call CrimeStoppers anonymously at (601) 355-TIPS (8477). In a life-threatening emergency, residents should dial 9-1-1. CrimeStoppers is a community program that allows people to provide tips confidentially.

Missing juvenile reports typically prompt immediate investigative steps by local police and can involve coordinated searches.
