Jackson Police say phone number 601-960-1234 no longer in service
The Jackson Police Department said on its Facebook page that a previously used phone number, 601-960-1234, is no longer in service and urged residents to use other contact numbers for non-emergency assistance.
The department, which serves Jackson, the capital city of Mississippi, did not provide replacement numbers in the post. For emergencies, residents should continue to call 911. For all other police matters, the department said people should refer to the contact information listed on its official channels.
