Jackson County sheriff seeks man in Ocean Springs stolen-vehicle case
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department identified 27-year-old Andrew Dilyn Hebert as wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle reported in Ocean Springs, the department said in a press release.
Deputies attempted to stop Hebert, but he fled the vehicle and ran into a wooded area on Old Fort Bayou Road, the release said. His last known address was listed on Wire Road in Vancleave.
Authorities ask anyone with information about Hebert’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers by downloading the P3 Tips app or by calling TIPS, the department said. The press release said that to be eligible for a reward, information must be submitted directly through Crime Stoppers.
Jackson County is on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and includes the coastal city of Ocean Springs and the community of Vancleave. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
