The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help locating James Hines, also known as “Jimmy” Hines, who is wanted on a felony warrant for motor vehicle taking, the department said. Hines is listed in the National Crime Information Center with NIC number W375342560.
The National Crime Information Center, a nationwide law enforcement database maintained for interstate criminal justice purposes, is used to share wanted-person information among agencies, aiding searches for suspects, missing people and stolen property.
Authorities asked anyone with information about Hines’ whereabouts to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers by downloading the P3 Tips app or by calling TIPS. The Sheriff’s Department said tips submitted directly through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, the department noted. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
