Organizers said in a Facebook post they are still accepting applications for the Hinds County Warriors Summer Camp, scheduled for July 6-17, 2026. Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at Raymond Elementary School, 417 Palestine Street in Raymond.
For registration, the post lists an email contact: jhorton@co.hinds.ms.us. Those interested in sponsoring the program were directed to contact the Office of the Sheriff at 601-974-2901 or by email at tjones@co.hinds.ms.us, according to the post.
The announcement encouraged parents to register sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders for the camp. The Facebook post repeated the dates, times and contact information and included a flyer for additional details.
