Authorities in Southaven, Mississippi, are seeking 14-year-old Laniyah Redmond, who was last seen at 1:00 a.m. in the area of Rasco and Cedarbrook, the Southaven Police Department said in a Facebook post.
Redmond is described as a Black female, 5-foot-11 and 230 pounds, with light red hair that has yellow in it. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with red and white lettering, gray shorts and a maroon bonnet.
The Southaven Police Department said anyone with information about Redmond’s whereabouts should call 662-393-8652 or email tips@southaven.org. The department is the primary law enforcement agency for the city of Southaven in DeSoto County, northern Mississippi, and routinely asks for help from the public when someone is reported missing.
