Hinds County deputy receives Top Cop Award
Hinds County Deputy Vincent Kendricks received the Top Cop Award during this morning’s 20th annual Police Memorial and Appreciation Day luncheon, the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
The sheriff’s office said Kendricks earned the award for his “heroic actions” in saving a victim from a burning vehicle following a motor vehicle accident. The post said law enforcement professionals from local, state and federal agencies are recognized and awarded at the annual luncheon held during National Police Week.
