Gulfport Police seeks paint and body technician

The Gulfport Police Department is recruiting a paint and body technician to maintain its vehicle fleet, the department said in a Facebook post.

The post said the department seeks a skilled technician who can repair dents, restore paint finishes and align body panels to keep vehicles presentable and ready to serve the community. Applicants are directed to apply at www.gulfportpolice.net.

Police departments rely on well-maintained fleets to respond to emergencies, patrol neighborhoods and support daily operations. Technicians who work on police vehicles perform both cosmetic and structural repairs that can affect vehicle safety, longevity and public perception.

The announcement highlights the department’s effort to ensure its equipment remains serviceable and professional in appearance. Interested candidates should consult the department website for application details and job requirements. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
