Gulfport police seek ID of man in March restaurant assault
The Gulfport Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man and vehicle shown in images posted by Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers in connection with an assault on a restaurant employee on March 19, 2026, officials said.
According to the police, the suspect allegedly punched an employee in the face with a closed fist, causing significant injuries. Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers posted photographs and is seeking tips that could help investigators identify the man and the vehicle involved.
Authorities ask anyone with information to report it by downloading the P3 Tips app or by contacting the Crime Stoppers tip line. Crime Stoppers programs typically allow people to submit anonymous information and may offer rewards; Gulfport police said information must come through Crime Stoppers to qualify for a reward.
