Gulfport Police Department welcomes three new officers
The Gulfport Police Department said in a Facebook post that it has welcomed three new officers to its ranks: Officer Hayden Wyers, Officer Christopher Wilson and Officer Brandt Beebe.
The department announced the additions on its official Facebook page and said it is “proud to have them on board” and looks forward to the impact they will make serving the community. The post included hashtags celebrating the hires: #GulfportProud, #Family, #NewBeginnings and #Welcome.
The Gulfport Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the city and is responsible for public safety, crime prevention and community policing. New officer hires can help departments maintain patrol coverage, support community outreach initiatives and respond to local calls for service.
The department asked residents to join in giving the officers a warm welcome. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
