Five Disaster Service Centers open for residents hit by Tropical Storm Arthur
Five Disaster Service Centers are open to serve residents who suffered damage during Tropical Storm Arthur on June 18–20, 2026, officials said. The centers are part of the federal disaster declaration DR-4930-MS and are intended to help people affected by the storm.
Hancock County: Kiln Community Center, 18320 Highway 43, Kiln, MS 39556. Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sunday closed.
Harrison County: Donal Snyder Community Center, 2520 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday closed. Harrison County: Saucier Lizana Shelter, 23711 Saucier Lizana Road, Saucier, MS 39574. Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sunday closed.
Pearl River County: Pearl River County Annex, 100 South Main Street, Poplarville, MS 39470. Stone County: Stone County Fairgrounds, 717 Airport Street, Wiggins, MS 39577. Both locations are open Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sunday closed.
Individuals can also apply for assistance online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or by using the FEMA App. Disaster Recovery Centers allow survivors to speak with representatives about federal help and next steps in recovery.
