Corinth Police thank telecommunicators during National Telecommunications Week
Corinth Police Department thanked its telecommunicators this week in a post on its Facebook page marking National Telecommunications Week, saying it is grateful for the “hard working guys and gals” behind the mic, the department said on Facebook.
National Telecommunications Week is an annual observance that recognizes public safety telecommunicators who answer emergency calls, dispatch officers and provide critical information during incidents. Telecommunicators play a central role in emergency response by receiving calls, prioritizing responses and coordinating resources, tasks that officials and advocates say are often unseen by the public.
The department’s Facebook post included an automated notice that the content “isn’t available right now.” Facebook usually displays that message when a post has restricted visibility, been shared with a limited audience or has been removed.
The department’s acknowledgement underscores ongoing community appreciation for emergency communications staff who handle time-sensitive, high-pressure calls. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
