The University of Mississippi Medical Center’s AirCare program has added AirCare 5, its first fixed-wing aircraft, to the fleet, offering another way to transport patients needing specialized care across Mississippi and beyond.
The aircraft provides longer range and more flexibility for longer-distance transports, UMMC said. AirCare described AirCare 5 as the newest addition to its fleet and said it is helping bring patients to needed care when they need it.
