Northeast Mississippi Community College Adult Education highlighted recent graduates who earned their diplomas as the program wrapped up AEFL Week.
The program shared encouragement from the graduates, including the message, “If I can do it, you can, too!” Their paths differed, but the program said their accomplishments show that people can continue pursuing their goals, begin again and complete their education.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
