High temperatures in the mid-90s to around 100 are expected to continue through Monday, according to the U.S. National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.
Temperatures may moderate by the middle of next week, with highs in the 80s. Those temperatures would remain above normal but would be cooler than conditions experienced over about the past month and a half.
