Students in Northeast Mississippi Community College’s AE Smart Start and Corinth Adult Education programs took part in several activities during Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, including creative, career-focused and patriotic events.
Students designed bookmarks based on their favorite story, book or poem. They also responded to the statewide “What’s Your Next Move?” question for Make Your Move Monday and mapped out their career paths.

The students marked America’s 250th anniversary with a special story and patriotic bingo. Northeast Mississippi Community College – Adult Education said the activities reflected students’ progress from literacy work to career planning, as well as their continued learning, growth and achievement.
