Baldwyn High School senior Megan Benjamin shadowed a dental hygienist at Dr. Catherine Mincy’s office in Booneville, Mississippi, on Friday, according to the Baldwyn School District.
Benjamin observed how patients are educated about dental health and said the experience helped her consider whether dental hygiene could be a career for her. She also learned that patience and communication are important in the work.
