Baldwyn High School junior Olivia Page shadowed staff in the neonatal intensive care unit at the Women’s Center in Tupelo during September, which is NICU Awareness Month.
Page’s nephew was a NICU baby when he was born. She said the experience showed her the work performed in the unit and gave her a better understanding of what she might want to do one day.
