Another year of DARE classes officially underway

Another year of DARE classes is officially underway, according to a post from the Batesville – MS Police Department.

The post said the program provides an opportunity to teach and connect with students while helping them learn important lessons expected to stay with them for years. It also thanked Sgt. Jarvis Smith for dedicating his time, knowledge and heart to teaching the classes and making a positive impact on the students.

The department expressed excitement for another year of DARE and for what the students will accomplish.
