Tonya Hall brought her grandbaby, Pogo, a baby kangaroo, to her fifth-grade classes at BMS, according to the Baldwyn School District.
Students were able to pet Pogo and learn how to care for him. They also received information about the kangaroo’s native habitat. Pogo is still being bottle-fed and sleeps in a pouch.
