Regina Joe arrested after Highway 90 shooting in Gautier

Gautier police arrested Regina Joe, 33, of Pascagoula, after an altercation and shooting on Highway 90 near Gautier-Vancleave Road that left a 20-year-old man critically wounded, according to the Gautier Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 5 p.m. on September 18. An 18-year-old female was assaulted during the incident, and the male victim sustained a gunshot wound before being taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Joe was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, discharging a firearm within city limits, disturbance in a public place, no proof of liability insurance, driving while her license was suspended and obstructing a public street.
