Madison police and fire departments host Mississippi, Uzbek National Guard members

The Madison Police and Fire Department hosted members of the Mississippi National Guard, the Uzbek Ministry of Emergency Services and the Uzbek National Guard in Madison, Mississippi, according to the department.

The visit focused on sharing ideas and discussing public safety from training, operational and resource perspectives. Participants also shared experiences and discussed their commitment to serving and protecting their communities.

The visit concluded with lunch at Mama Hamil’s, where participants experienced Southern hospitality, the department said.
