Greg Stephenson arrested after Crime Stoppers appeal, officials say

Greg Stephenson was arrested by the Ocean Springs Police Department on September 24, 2026, after Crime Stoppers publicized information seeking his whereabouts, according to Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers.

Another individual was also arrested for aiding and abetting, the organization said. Crime Stoppers said it featured Stephenson two days before the arrest and that tips began arriving within 24 hours.

The organization thanked people who shared its post and submitted information. It also said all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
