Gautier police say missing 17-year-old Kalashia Stewart found safe

The Gautier Police Department said Kalashia Stewart, a 17-year-old who had been reported missing, was found safe. The department thanked the public for its assistance.

Police had sought help locating Stewart after she was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 27, 2026, after leaving the Martin Bluff Road area. She was described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 98 pounds. At the time, she was wearing a black hoodie, black biker shorts and black New Balance tennis shoes.
