The chief of police and officers with the Columbus Police Department visited Stokes-Beard Elementary School for Career Day, where students learned about careers in law enforcement and met members of the department.
Students also received an up-close look at the police cars. The department said visits like the Career Day appearance help build trust and strengthen connections with young community members while encouraging children to consider possibilities for their futures.
