Hattiesburg police are investigating a collision that fatally injured a bicyclist Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at approximately 10:47 p.m. in the 1500 block of Edwards Street.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle striking a bicyclist. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle was traveling north on Edwards Street when the accident occurred. The investigation is ongoing.
