Greenville man charged with four counts of auto burglary

Greenville police charged Freddie Pam Jr. with four counts of auto burglary after officers investigated reports of vehicles being entered in the Hospital Street area and surrounding neighborhood. His bond was set at $150,000.

Officers responded to the reported vehicle burglary on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and later detained a suspect near the intersection of Abraham Street and Railroad Street. Pam was initially charged with public drunkenness and placed on an investigative hold while the burglary reports were investigated.

The Greenville Police Department said the case was developed by its Criminal Investigation Division. The department said it remains focused on investigating property crimes, identifying those responsible and protecting residents’ property. Pam is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
