Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office introduces detention center supervisor Tony Goolsby

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office introduced Tony Goolsby as part of its “Meet Us Monday” series, which highlights the people who work for the office. Goolsby is an alternate supervisor at the Lafayette County Detention Center.

Goolsby said he is from Oxford, Mississippi, and enjoys helping people deal with their situations when they enter the detention center.

He also said correctional officers and staff at the detention center are there to help the people of Lafayette County, including both the public and inmates in their care.
