Catholic Charities hosts Mississippi public safety officials

Catholic Charities welcomed members of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, including leaders from Capitol Police and the Mississippi Highway Patrol, for an opportunity to connect and share, according to the department.

Capitol Police Majors Sim Shanks and Mark Miller joined Mississippi Highway Patrol Col. Tadd Pitts and Lt. Col. James Ivory. The meeting was described as an effort to strengthen relationships that help the agencies better serve communities across Mississippi.

The department thanked Catholic Charities for the invitation and recognized the organization’s continued commitment to serving others.
