Parts of Mississippi face marginal severe-weather risk
Parts of Mississippi are under a marginal risk for severe weather today, with the threat expected primarily during the afternoon and evening, according to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency.
Isolated severe storms are possible, and damaging wind gusts are the primary threat. The greatest risk is expected between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The agency advised residents to stay weather-aware, follow the latest forecast and keep multiple ways to receive weather warnings in case conditions become severe.
