Marginal severe storm risk forecast east of Mississippi River
A marginal risk of severe thunderstorms is forecast for this afternoon and evening, primarily east of the Mississippi River, according to the US National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.
Damaging winds are the main threat. Localized heavy rainfall and marginally severe hail are also possible secondary threats.
