Marginal severe-storm risk set for parts of Mid-South on Thursday

A Marginal Risk for severe storms is in place Thursday for portions of the Mid-South, according to the US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee.

Damaging winds are the primary concern with any storms that do form. The event is not expected to bring widespread rainfall, although a few lucky places will receive beneficial rainfall.
