Marginal severe-storm risk expanded across most of Midsouth
The Marginal Risk for severe storms has been expanded to include most of the Midsouth today, according to the US National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.
Damaging winds are expected to remain the primary threat, with localized flash flooding identified as a secondary threat. Storm coverage and intensity are likely to peak in the late afternoon and early evening.
