William Carey rallies from two-set deficit to beat Mobile in five sets

William Carey rallied from a two-set deficit to defeat the University of Mobile in five sets at the Ben Waddle Complex in Hattiesburg. Mobile won the opening two sets 25-20 each before William Carey mounted its comeback.

William Carey stayed alive with a 25-22 third-set victory. Maurin Reyes had a kill, and Reyes and Reagan Ziegler combined on a block to tie the set at 17-17. After Mobile pulled within one point at 23-22, Rachel Stegall delivered a kill for set point, and a block by Emily Martin and Aubrey Easley sealed the win.

William Carey then won the fourth set 25-23 to force the deciding frame. In the fifth set, the team held a 10-9 lead before two Stegall kills and a Mobile error extended the advantage to 13-9. Mobile pulled within one point at 14-13, but Alejandra Villarreal recorded the match-winning kill for a 15-13 victory.
