Jackson police chief brings Force Metrics representative to CompStat meeting

Jackson Police Chief RaShall Brackney invited Shane McGregor of Force Metrics to last Thursday’s CompStat meeting as the department considers technology aimed at supporting its crime prevention and reduction efforts.

Force Metrics, a Denver-based government technology company, develops artificial-intelligence-powered decision-assist platforms for first responders. The initiative is part of Brackney’s effort to bring new technology to the Jackson Police Department, according to the department.

The department said the effort is intended to strengthen crime prevention and reduction work and help build a safer environment for residents and businesses in Jackson.
