MDPS holds 2026 Fallen Officer Memorial Ceremony at 10 a.m.

MDPS said in a Facebook post that it will hold its 2026 Fallen Officer Memorial Ceremony at 10 a.m. to honor those who “have given their all in the line of duty.”

The post said the ceremony will be streamed live on the agency’s MDPS Facebook page for those unable to attend in person. No additional details about the location or program were provided in the post.

Fallen officer memorial ceremonies typically bring together families, fellow officers and community members to remember law enforcement personnel who died while serving. Such events commonly include formal remarks, flag presentations and moments of silence to recognize the sacrifices made by officers and their families.

The MDPS post did not include further logistical information. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
