Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams delivered the commencement address to FedEx Corporate Security Graduate Classes 38 and 39, according to the City of Olive Branch – Government.
Adams is a graduate of class 2 and drew on 38 years of experience in FedEx Corporate Security to provide information during the address.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
