Mississippi auditor’s office says it identified more than $400 million in waste
The Mississippi Office of the State Auditor says it has identified more than $400 million in waste across state government.
The office said it remains committed to being transparent with taxpayers about how their money is being spent, acknowledging that highlighting the issue is not always popular with bureaucrats.
